Barbarian Lord

by Matt Smith. New York, NY: Clarion Books, 2014

This story is a mix of Norse mythology with a smattering of Tolkien and a mild Game of Thrones. It is full of swordplay and sorcery it is the story of Donaar's farm, now run by his son, and the Skullmaster's plots to destroy him and take over the farm (with the help of a somewhat hapless witch).
