This is a great anchor text for how to use contextual cues when reading or interacting socially (as Ms. Bell does an outstanding job describing how she used them), as well as for teaching metaphor and other literary devices.

Awards include starred reviews (Kirkus Reviews, Horn Book, and Publishers Weekly) and 2015 Newbery Award Honor Book.
