This anthology represents a collection of stories from various Native American tribes. The characters range from gods, to animals, to humans, each story is a "trickster" who disrupts the order of things either humiliating or saving those around him/her.

Trickster is the recipient of the 2010 Maverick Award, the 2011 Aesop Prize for Children’s folklore, and a 2011 Eisner Award Nominee.
