A Fire Story

This is a firsthand account of the tragic wildfires that burned through Northern California on Monday, October 9, 2017 resulting in 44 fatalities and the destruction of thousands of homes and structures.

It started as a webcomic and has received the following awards: Emmy Award for Best Public/Current/Community Affairs-Featured Segment on PBS station KQED; First Place Feature Story in California Newspaper Publishers Association (CNPA) and Shortlisted for the 2018 Cartoonist Studio Prize by Slate and the Center for the Cartoon Studies.
